Dual cure flowable composite with nano zirconium dioxide & calcium fluoride.

If the remaining tooth structure is inadequate for permanent retention of a direct core build-up material, a root post must be used for retaining the core. Retention & support must be derived from within the root canal  because little coronal dentine remains

Ensures a monoblock restoration -

This material can be used as 3 in 1for post, core & crown cementation, leading to less interfaces between the restoration which ultimately unify the tooth directing all the occlusal forces perpendicular to the tooth surface

Benefits of Nano-zirconium dioxide, nano-calcium Flouride Particles

AvueCore Nano is a dual cure high radiopaque  flowable composite material with nano particles  for core-build-up and cementation of posts.it Improves the composite’s physical properties and flow characteristics making AvueCore Nano more strong and durable.

Zirconia particles acts as binder which results in fewer microcracks and increases the fracture toughness

Ferrule-Only the rule to follow in core build up

Crown preparations exhibiting parallel walls with proper taper and height, coupled with adequate ferrule 1 mm to 2 mm beyond the core material itself without violation of biological width, have historically proven to be clinically successful regardless of the material chosen for the definitive crown

Excellent mechanical properties

Due to its excellent mechanical properties final crown preparation can be carried out more precisely. AvueCore Nano is also suitable for cementing of crowns and bridges, inlays and onlays if there are no high esthetic requirements.

Delivered in 1:1 Smartmix – syringes AvueCore Nano can be easily dispensed and applied directly into the root cana;. AvueCore Nano exhibits a short setting time without high heat generation. The dual cure properties enables the dentist, also to carry out cementations and core build-ups in cases where a light cure cannot be guaranteed to be sufficient.Compressive strength of AvueCore Nano is 320MPa-Flexural strength-145MPa and Diametral Tensile strength-40MPa

Low film thickness

Film thickness of Avuecore Nano is less then 25 microns which ensures proper luting of the post and of crowns &bridges

Dentin like cutability

This features helps while preparing the tooth , the clinician will get smooth notch-free surface and finishing margins due to its hardness is equal to dentin<Compressive strength-320MPa>

  • Preparing the AvueCore Nano Smartmix – Syringe
Remove the cap of the AvueCore Nano Smartmix-Syringe and throw it away (do not use it again!). It is replaced by a special 1:1 mixing cannula. Turn the cannula 90o until it locks in position. The material is now ready for application.
    NOTE:
Discard the first 2-3 mm of the extruded material (about the size of a peppercorn). This must be done for each new mix.
Store used syringe with fixed used mixing cannula in the dark.

    1. Post Cementation
1.1. Isolation : Use of a rubber dam to isolate the tooth is strongly recommended
1.2. Root Canal Preparation: Refer to direction of the selected post manufacture
Remove all existing old restorations and decay from the tooth, prepare and clean the root canal.
Condition and apply a suitable bonding agent, either self Etch or total etch bonding agent can be used according to manufacturer instructions
1.3. Post Cementation: Prepare the selected post according to manufacturer directions.
AvueCore Nano is applied into the prepared root canal and onto the post. Seat the post carefully into the canal and maintain firm pressure until the post is seated.
AvueCore Nano self- cures within 3:30 minutes, for post stabilization doctor can light cure the coronal part of the cemented post for 20 seconds.
As soon as AvueCore Nano has set proceed with the core-build-up procedure.

    2.Core-Build-Up
2.1 Isolation : Use of a rubber dam to isolate the tooth is strongly recommended.
    2.2. Cavity Preparation
Remove all existing old restoration and decay from the tooth. If necessary place any pins or posts. Refer to directions of the selected post manufacturer.
Note: The preparation should include at least 1.5 mm of sound tooth structure around the circumference of the preparation for the desired ferrule effect.
2.3. Application of a Bonding Agent
Condition and apply a suitable bonding agent, either self Etch or total etch bonding agent can be used according to manufacturer instructions.
Note: It is essential that the primed dentine and enamel surfaces are dry and contaminant free for the application of AvueCore Nano.
    2.4 Application of AvueCore Nano
Place the mixing cannula directly into the preparation and press out the material.
It is automatically mixed when dispensed with slight and even pressure.
Filling should occur from bottom upwards to prevent voids.
To facilitate placement of AvueCore Nano place a matrix band or use core formers around the prepared tooth.
Material can be contoured by using a composite instrument. A flat-ended interproximal carver is recommended.
AvueCore Nano sets in 3:30 minutes or can be light-cured for 40 seconds to accelerate the polymerization.
A probe can be used to test complete setting of AvueCore Nano.
Matrix band/ core former should not be removed before the material has set.
Final crown preparation on the AvueCore Nano can be carried out by using crown preparation burs.
Note:The preparation should include at least 1.5 mm of sound tooth structure around the circumference of the preparation for the desired ferrule effect.
    3. Cementation of Crowns and Bridges
    3.1Conditioning the preparation/cavity
Condition and apply a suitable bonding agent, either self Etch or total etch bonding agent can be used according to manufacturer instructions Excessive amount of adhesive should be avoided, since this can influence the fitting accuracy of the final restoration.
3.2 Conditioning the inner surfaces/contact surfaces of the restoration
Always condition the contact surfaces of the restoration according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
Note:After conditioning the restoration protect it against contamination. (e.g. moisture, fingerprints) If the adhesive layer is too thick, it can impair the fit of the restoration.
    3.3 Application of AvueCore Nano
Place the mixing cannula directly over the restorations or if necessary over the preparation. It is automatically mixed when dispensed with slight and even pressure. Filling should occur from bottom upwards to prevent voids.
Hold the restoration in position with increased pressure.
Remove the excess and light cure it in order to speed up the polymerization process.

    STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
    1. Store unopened material in the refrigerator.
    2. Store used syringe with fixed used mixing cannula in the dark.
    3. Opened cartridges have to be used up within 3 months.
    4. Do not use after expiry date
